Samsung B2700 Review
More great mobile deals from OHMI. Today we bring you the Samsung's B2700, a robust and tough-looking phone. The outer casing made from black plastic with a hardened rubber exterior.
The keypad, is also rubberised and has large easy access keys. And because the phone is shock, dust, and water resistant, it can put up with the hard days work you have to. And don't worry if you drop it as you get out of your vehicle, accidental;y let it slip in the mud, or are working in the hot dusty worksite. This phone has IP54 rating, so if you get it filthy give it a quick rinse, no worries.
A carabiner band is included in the box, so you can attach the phone to your belt for safe keeping.
The IP54 rating on the B2700 stands for International Protection, the number 5 means that while the phone is resistant to dust, it is not absolutely protected from it. The number 4 means splashing water on the phone should have no harmful effect, but it is not waterproof, meaning it should not be submerged. While the phone is not disaster proof, it is robust and durable for use. Our test phone has been used for nearly 12 months and still works fine after being repeatedly dropped on hard surfaces, covered in dirt and mud, then washed off under a tap.

The X6 is Nokia’s latest Xpress Music Touch Screen mobile phone. With a Capacitive touchscreen; standard 3.5mm headphone jack; 16GB of onboard memory; desktop syncing software; takes great photos; and access to Ovi store and online Music and Apps.
The Nokia X6 feels like a bigger adaptation of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, with a capacitive touchscreen and sleeker looks. The Symbian user interface is rather dated, and the touchscreen could be peppier, but, with massive onboard data storage and access to a huge catalog of music, the X6 is definitely for music lovers. It can be a little sluggish at times, and may not be the most user friendly of phones. Call quality and sound quality is average but it does come with Ovi Store still needs improvement; average sound and call quality.

A recent change to by our 3G mobile carrier, Optus, voicemail platform means that your newest message is now played first.
Previously the first (oldest) message left on a customer’s Voicemail box was played first. This was known as First In – First Out. Eg. If 3 messages were left at 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm then the messages were played in the order with the first left, being 1pm, first played.
The new playback order, known as Last In - First Out (LI-FO), means that the most recent message left is the first played. Eg. If 3 messages were left at 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm then the 7pm message is played first, the 4pm second and 1pm last. This can save time by providing the most recent information to customer, allowing them to delete the older messages without having to listen to them if they wish.
Please Note: The LI-FO playback order is permanent and a user’s voicemail box cannot be changed back to the previous First In – First Out order.
